STEVEN STIEFEL
Steven Stiefel is a staff writer for The Fort Payne (AL) Times-Journal, covering education, business, politics, art, lifestyle, social media, science and technology. He is the CEO of a marketing consultancy called Stiefel Creative that offers fashion-inspired magazine-style portrait photography, headshots and commercial product photography in-studio or on-location, along with copywriting and content marketing services.
He served as the Editor in Chief of Savvy.com, a global lifestyle brand for fashion-forward men and women that site ranked for three consecutive years as the second most visited website in the world in the men’s lifestyle category.
He also served as the Marketing Manager for the MavTV national television network. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and earned his master’s degree in strategic communications from Troy University.
His interests include filmmaking, college football, traveling, spending time with his daughter, and listening to live music. He has received awards for photojournalism and in-depth news reporting from the Alabama Press Association.
